Je viens des Pays Bas donc je ne peux pas bien parler la langue française alors je voulais donner mon goût pour le magnifique château de Chambord en anglais:
I discovered Chambord last Summer and I urge you to go there as soon as possible when you come in France! 
The park is simply marvellous, with a woodland domain of about 5000 hectares girded by a long wall which encircles the castle. It's so lovely, especially when you go on the terraces with their huge sculptures you can walk around.
You see horse riders, wild birds, hunters from the splendid belveders that dominate the forest.
As far as the castle is concerned, it is a real enchanting place built five centuries ago with nicely decorated apartments, a remarkable double helix staircase in the very centre of the keep, designed in such a way that enables two people to go up & down at the same time, that was a challenge at that time!
It is located between two rivers (Loire and Sologne) , about 2h from Paris, by Motorway "A 10",
